Anticipate an unprecedented level of romance in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The incorporation of romantic elements into our role-playing games has steadily increased, and now, it's almost a staple that our main character has the liberty to engage romantically with the various personalities we meet during our grand quests.

Bioware is leading this trend, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard will uphold this tradition. This installment is taking the romantic dynamics to new heights – if your character doesn't form romantic connections with the companions, they might just find love among themselves instead.

John Epler, the creative director, shared insights: "In the realm of Dragon Age and BioWare’s creations, the element of romance is foundational. We’ve endeavored to imbue each character with a distinct approach or sense of romance. Thus, while some characters may approach romance with more ardor, others might approach it with a sense of innocence. Importantly, you have the opportunity to cultivate these relationships.

Uniquely in this game, should you opt not to pursue romantic engagements with characters, they possess the autonomy to seek out relationships either within the team or in the broader world."
