Despite sporadic updates mainly centered on team collaborations and alpha testing phases, the recent initiation of a second open beta suggests significant progress, backing their claim of readiness to enter the fray.

Scheduled for release on 12 September, UFL will be available on PS5 and Xbox Series. Players opting for the Foundation pack will receive exclusive cosmetics, along with access to the "Estádio do Redentor" stadium and a week of early gameplay. The developers are keen to draw in players with these enticing offers, even if the stadium's name cannot reference its more famous counterpart due to licensing constraints.

After the announcement on social media, some fans expressed concern about the proximity of UFL's release to that of EA FC 25, which launches on 20 September.
