Introducing Lenovo Legion Go: A Step Up in Portable Gaming

Lenovo launched its first Windows gaming handheld device, the Lenovo Legion Go, at the IFA (Internationale FunkAusstellung Berlin) 2023 in Berlin on Friday, September 1. It will be available starting from November, priced at around EUR 799. The device comes with an 8.8-inch QHD+ display, AMD Ryzen Z1 processors, and runs on Windows 11 Home with Legion Space software. For enhanced gaming experience, it is equipped with Hall Effect joysticks and will compete against gaming consoles such as the Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, and Asus ROG Ally.
The Legion Go also comes with a variety of additional features, including a three-month complimentary subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, access to the Legion Game Store, and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Equipped with RAM, the device offers the capability to extend its storage capacity up to 2TB and features the adaptable Legion TrueStrike controllers. The handheld gets a liquid crystal polymer 79-blade fan for effective thermal management, and various connectivity options including USB-Type C ports, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2 and a microSD card slot.
Equipped with a two-cell 49.2Wh battery, the Legion Go features rapid charging technology, allowing it to charge from empty to 70% in just 30 minutes when using the included 65W charger. Lenovo has also included a power bypass mode to reduce heat and protect the battery from degradation while charging. The device measures 299x131x41mm in size with controllers attached and weighs 854 grams. It comes in a Shadow Black shade.
