Capcom has unveiled exciting new details about Monster Hunter Wilds during its showcase at the Tokyo Game Show, following the announcement of the release date. Fans can look forward to a fresh trailer along with an 11-minute guide that covers essential information about the game.
The guide introduces various new characters who will assist players in their adventures, including the handler Alma, the blacksmith Gemma, and the beloved Palicos. Additionally, several new monsters have been revealed, featuring smaller beings that enhance the game’s ecosystems, such as Balahara, known for its ability to create quicksand traps that can trap other creatures within the vicinity.
The latest trailer concluded with exciting pre-order information. Players who secure their pre-orders by February 28 will receive a Guild Knight layered armor set and a Hope Charm Talisman. There will be multiple editions available, including the Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and the Premium Deluxe Edition, each offering various bonuses and two cosmetic downloadable contents set for release later.
Monster Hunter Wilds is poised to release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 28. Players with saved data from Monster Hunter World or Iceborne will be rewarded with two armor sets for the Palicos.
